The ultimate in leadership development.
An effective executive is a disciplined executive.
Are you the leader that is distinct? Are you the kind of executive leader that leaves no doubt you provide the most value?
| Mission |
To help serious leadership professionals turn their vision, talent and experience into measurable, undeniable value.
I decided to go down a rabbit hole...and I decided to stay.
After years of being in the leadership and management development space, I decided to explore what similarities there might between my experience and body of work and that of the famous management guru - Peter Drucker...specifically his findings recorded in the book The Effective Executive - first edition 1967. The book had been given as a gift to the executive team of one my global clients.
To my great surprise there were many similarities, coupled with fantastic insights. I discovered our work - leadership development though in different eras and contexts - was very much aligned and that there were key leadership skills that the most important above all others!
This discovery gave a deeper voice, meaning, and tremendous validation to my years of work.
Additionally, as I was considering the next chapter of my business, it helped bring clarity and refinement to deciding what would be my key area of focus.

What would it be? Consider another surprising insight from Drucker's book - you can have great knowledge, tons of talent and experience and still not be an effective leader.
Why?...because being effective requires targeted intention and attention to specific thinking and behaviors beyond knowledge and experience. Learning to be effective, Drucker observed, was the leadership competency that mattered most - that superseded all others, making all others more valuable.
So, What is Effective?
What does it mean to be effective? - the ability to achieve the most important, most valuable results in any context.
What's required to be an effective leader?
2 key areas:
1. being personally effective - individual results
2. being effective through leading and managing others - the ability to achieve the best results with your extended leadership/management teams throughout your organization
Who Qualifies as an Executive?
Drucker loosens how to view and use the term executive. Though it's commonly associated with C-suite leadership, from his point of view, it could be anyone who has responsibilities that need to be executed in a way to produce value and essential outcomes from a project manager, subject matter expert to a business owner.
Though our primary clients are business owners, mid to senior level leaders, we are open to working with anyone who has a deep commitment to translating their talent and experience into meaningful, measurable results.
